Whether or not people believe in ghosts, most people are at least willing to accept the fact that there are many unexplained things in this world of ours. 

I am not going to attempt to convince you that ghosts are real.  Let's face it, regardless of what I (or other people say), most people will remain skeptical until they personally experience something of a paranormal (meaning outside of the normal experience) or unexplained nature. 

Skepticism is a good thing.  To blindly accept without thinking or questioning can lead someone into the nether regions of reason.  Yet when someone goes to the point of refusing to accept that there are still unexplained "things" in this Universe, then they limit themselves for human-kind definitely does not have all the answers to everything at this point in time.

I have a very logical mind and when I run into something that seems "out of the ordinary," the first thing I do is attempt to find a very normal and rational explanation for it.  All logical possibilities must be carefully examined.  When all reasonable thinking fails, then and only then can the experience be placed under the heading of the unexplained or paranormal.

Some common characteristics of  "ghostly activity":

• Electromagnetic field changes drastically

• Cold spots

• Sounds

• Sightings

• Physical objects moving or operating by themselves.

Important information about the pictures:

These pictures were all taken by either myself or my son using a variety of cameras.

These pictures have not been altered in any way with the exception of reducing their size and lightening them (a maximum of 10%) where necessary.  If these changes were made, there is a statement to this effect directly below the pictures.

Where indicated, I have also provided a link to the full size photo.  In most cases I did not do this because I opted to add the full size view of some of the more interesting spots.  These appear to be magnifications but, as I just mentioned, they are not.  The full view picture is a reduction. 

I have also attempted to give as much of an explanation as is possible with each of the pictures.

Someone wrote and asked me a very good question which I decided to include here...How did I know to take the picture if I didn't know that something strange would show up?  The answer is very simple, I was talking a picture of something else.  Of course, once I began to study this phenomena, I started taking pictures just for the heck of it. <g>  If I go into an area that is supposedly haunted then I definitely take as many pictures as I can.   More often than not, nothing unusual shows up, but sometimes I get lucky!

ECTOPLASM AND THE TOTALLY BIZARRE
		Ectoplasm and ??? Heavy ectoplasm along with an unidentified item. (Ohio)
		Cord-like anomaly Truly bizarre, cord-like thing that is transparent and passes through itself. (Dallas, TX)
		What's Up with the Tree Line? An unusual line that follows the outline of the trees. (Ohio)
		Strange Splotches Different sized, shaped and colored splotches that showed up in the room of a haunted hotel (Hotel Jefferson in Jefferson, TX).
		Haunted Hallway A large light sphere that appeared in the hallway of a haunted hotel (Hotel Jefferson in Jefferson, TX).

		Golden Tree A strange golden mass appeared in front of a green tree. (Dallas, TX)

THE STORIES

I have been asked many times to write out the stories of some of my experiences.  While I make detailed notes immediately following each trip, they are not something that could be easily read!   However, I have finally begun the writing process and as each story is written out, I will provide a link to it right here!

One Haunted Night ~A True Story~ This is the story of my experience spending the night in a haunted restaurant in Jefferson, TX..  It was this experience that made me a true believer! (The pictures: Circles and Squares and Ghostly Globe are tied to this story.)
