Was This A Ghost #2

I was at you site today and saw your section on Was This A Ghost?  I am e-mailing you to let you know that I had a similar experience when I was about 8 years old. We lived in an old farm house that we had built onto and had always had strange things going on. I didn’t know that everyone didn’t have that kind of thing going on. We had the noises and rapping but never anything major.

One morning I got up to get some breakfast and as I was walking into the kitchen I started hearing a buzzing sound, really light at first but just kept getting louder and louder. Now one thing else is that my mom and dad are very light sleepers.   I could drop a salt shaker in the kitchen (all the way across the house from their room) and they would ask me if everything was alright.

I didn’t have the electric shock or anything but I was rooted to the spot and couldn’t seem to move. I wasn’t being held it was just like I didn’t have the will to move my legs. The sound kept building until it seemed to fill the whole world and I thought I would black out from it and then all of a sudden it stopped, just cut off like someone flipped a switch.

After it stopped I could move just fine and when I asked mom and dad, they said they hadn’t heard anything.  We lived 5 miles from our nearest neighbor so it couldn't have been a car or any type of machinery. I know this doesn’t shed any light on what happened but maybe someone else will read this and tell their story.
