A Bit Unnerving!

I have had an experience that to this day I am unable to explain.  When I was in high school we lived in this house that really just shook my nerves.  A few months into living there I started to associate with the neighbor kids and as you know each place can have it stories.  They would tell of an unmarked graveyard in the woods lining the subdivision, but I thought they were just that, stories.

I used to come home late sometimes and my parents would leave on the front porch lights.  They were (at this time) not motion lights, there were a few times they had dimmed as I would get to the door.  I thought the bulbs needed changing.  I wasn't one to belive in ghosts, or the unnatural.

For a while that was it, nothing really happened until one night.  I came home oen night as usual and as I went to lock the door something caught my eye.  One of the two plants by the door was swinging back and forth.  There are no vents near the door and if there were, it would have moved them both.  The second was stock still.

The next night I came home and had this feeling that someone was right behind me, but I had this threatened feeling to go with it.  Something about that feeling made me run upstairs.    As soon as I got off the staircase it stopped.  That became normal, I was always running upstairs.

There were two other  experiences in the house that sealed my belief about it.  You know how when someone sits on a bed and the bed will get weighed down?  Well, one night I was struggling to get to sleep and I felt the bed sink in a spot near my knees like someone had sat down, but it wasn't threatening at all.  Right after it got up (I felt the bed move again) it was like a cat followed this thing off of the bed, I had felt small footsteps cross my legs.  What was funny was that I had only felt the one on the stairs a few times after.

I thought I was crazy  until the house down the street showed me I wasn't.   For some reason (we are not sure why), no one stayed there very long.  They would come fix it up and then leave.  Not long after the house seemed to fall apart.  Paint would chip and things would fall apart faster that it should have.  A few of the children in the neighborhood said they had gone in there once but would never go again.  I never really got a clear story on why, but I do know I don't like going by it.
