Movie Theater Ghosts

Back home in California, in 2000 I worked at a movie theater that was about 5 years old, and it was said to have been built over an Indian Burial ground. Many customers have witnessed very strange sightings inside the bathrooms, and certain theater rooms.

The story goes as follows: Back when the theater first opened, there was a man and wife in the 2nd theater out of 12 screens. Theater 2 was a very small room, compared to the bigger rooms that played the newest movies which were out. The man got in a verbal fight with his wife before the movie had started, and then she got very upset, and her husband then got physical with her in public. The thing is, she was pregnant at the time, and he stood up and kicked her in her stomach and shot her to death.

Employees at the theater at night usually notice strange noises, and feel chills follow them as they clean up the theater. Also weird and unexplained things have occurred, like the projection screen not working properly, sometimes it would shut off in the middle of a movie, and sometimes the lights wouldn't turn on before or after the show, and the managers would have to call the projection company to fix the problem. And it would happen time and time again.

After hours when I was hanging out with some friends we were just messing around, standing in the hall right next to theater 2, and we dared each other to go inside the theater and see what would happen. Of course, with our luck, the lights weren't operating right for "some reason", so we walked in there in complete darkness. My friend knew a lot about spirits and thought he could communicate with what he thought might have been spirits, but that was a bad idea...

There was a mini surround sound speaker up in the top left hand corner by the screen. Remember, it was pitch dark in the room, but something caught our attention with no doubt! The speaker spun around really fast paced, and the dang thing was lit up, and it reflected somehow, and then it stopped all of a sudden like nothing even happened. When we saw that, we all ran out to the entry way to theater 2. I looked inside the door, and out of nowhere, there was this weird, freakish cloud that was parted
in two, and it was floating in mid air, and it was backing away into the room from the door.

My friend said "oh my god, what's that"?  I really didn't do anything but just stand there and stare at it. I wasn't scared, I was more interested in what it was, and what it wanted from us. I checked my eyes, and blinked like 5 times just to make sure I
was really seeing what was standing before me. Then, it disappeared very slowly. I was starting to sweat, and get really nauseous, because it was unbelievable. That night, we went to tell the manager about it, and he said it was nothing but a lie. He didn't see what we saw. He told us to never mention it in front of customers, so we don't scare them away.

The next night my same friend brought one of his lady friends in theater 2 while we were cleaning up the room while no customers were inside. His friend spoke with spirits, and felt the presence of them all around. She sat down in a theater bucket seat that folded up when no one sits in them, and everything was very quiet. She was talking to supposedly a little boy around 6 years of age. He was very playful, and he was rocking her in the chair while she was sitting still. It wasn't dangerous, because she was laughing with him, but yet, we couldn't hear a thing from his presence. She then stood up on flat ground, and said "watch this, he'll rock me". She then moved very slowly with her arms crossed. What we saw looked like what was on the Michael Jackson "Moonwalker" video, when he stood up, and leaned forward almost with his face looking towards the ground. She told me to do the same thing. The little boys spirit was pushing me forward, but then I got very frightened, and jumped back. I didn't feel any hands, or a chill or anything, I just moved uncontrollably. What the lady seemed to believe was that the little boy was the baby of the wife that got shot, and he's still roaming the spot in the theater, where he died.

We also seem to believe that there is more then just a little boy's spirit wandering around. As I said before, that the theater may have been built over an Indian Burial ground. My friend was doing ticket checks at the front entrance way. Next thing he notices, there are 10 cemetrical thin lined scratches on his right lower arm. He called me up and told me, and I came down to check it out. It looked almost perfect. It didn't look like any animal got ahold of him. He also said he didn't even feel it happen, and right before it happened, there were no signs of scratches.

Employees and customers have also seen an obvious Indian male walking the halls of the theater, just wearing plain clothes. But he never goes into any of the theater rooms. I asked my friend to go follow him, and the man was gone, and not in sight anywhere. We've seen him very frequently roaming around the halls, but he does no harm, so we let it be.

To put all of this together, the theater is very much filled with spirits, I guess good and bad.
