The Ghost That Likes TV

A few years ago a friend and I attended an arts and crafts festival.  I had lived in my house for about five years and had had no experiences of any kind.  I have a bay window in the living room and often keep the blinds up and when you look in there is a chair facing the tv.  Back to the story---my friend and I were talking about trivial things and the paranormal was the last thing on our minds.

I pulled up in the drive way (by the way my house is a very small) and the front door is only about 20 steps away.  I looked inside and saw a man sitting in the chair intently watching tv.  I thought it looked alot like my brother from the back and I remember being puzzled as he was in the military and not due for a visit anytime soon.  I did not say a word to my friend as we got out and I went to the door.  I tried to open it, as my brother would never lock the door when he visited (a source of irritation with me) and it would not open.  I tried and tried and then I got my key out, entered and there was no one in the chair.

Puzzled, I checked the house and I turned to my friend and asked if she had seen anyone.  The reply was "yes" and when I asked her to descibe what she saw, it was exactly what I did. A dark haired man watching the television intently.  My dog had greeted me at the door and was very friendly, not the least bit shook like you hear about.

Now for the stranger part. It couldn't have been my imagination as I had said nothing to my friend about what I had seen.  Yet her description was the same as mine.  Could it have been a "live intruder"?  As I have stated, I have a very small house and the only entrance is the front door and the back door is laid out where the "intruder" could not have had time to have got out.  The only other way out was through the kitchen in the garage, but the garage door was NAILED SHUT because of an accident with the car going through the garage and I had nailed it shut until I could get a new one.

I am not particuarly scared, it was just a weird experience, I felt whatever it was it was not threatening just amusing itself.   I just cannot explain  it but thought I would share this with  you.

This is true and very baffling.
