Ghostly Kitty

My husband and I moved into an 85-year old house in Delaware five years ago. You could call us "doubting-Thomases" when it comes to anything related to the spirit world. The former owners lived here for 30 years. Prior to that the properties in this neighborhood belonged to a steel company, so tracking former owners and history isn't an option.

Anyway, we started feeling "plopping" sensations next to us on the bed or on the couch where we were sitting. We have two cats (neither of which were there) although it felt like the weight of a cat. We shrugged it off. Around Christmas 2000 my husband said it felt like something was picking at the fabric of the material on his right shoulder. That same evening, Christmas Eve, I felt something brush my right shoulder while I was in the kitchen. We didn't think anymore about this until I put two "throw away" 35mm cameras in the shop for development. Out of the 50 some pictures, one stood out - I had taken a picture of my 15 pound cat, Paws, in a straddled position on an easy chair arm in front of our fireplace. Over the cat was a splotch like your ectoplasm picture. There was another similar object on the coffee table and a cordlike object circling around the TV remote. I showed it to a couple of people that I knew wouldn't think I was "nuts". They said it looked like the shape of a cat.

Two weeks ago I put two more cameras in the shop. I had since moved the chair to another part of the living room, but the same cat was in a cute position. Not even thinking I would get another shot of this object, it showed up again, of course in a more stretched out shape.

That's when I decided to go on the internet to try and find information. We feel more curious than anything. After reading your story about your accidental picture in the hotel, we decided to start just snapping pictures. I haven't finished with them yet. Like you, we discounted anything that could have been there like smoke.
